New Road Agent

The Select Board is pleased to announce the appointment of George Guilmette as our new road agent, effective October 10, 2017.   Mr. Guilmette comes to us most recently from the Department of Public Works with the Town of Berwick.     He has had experiences in many aspects of road maintenance and the Board looks forward to working with him to maintain and improve our roads and to manage our transfer station operations.   Welcome aboard, George!

 

The Select Board also extends its appreciation to the Road Agent Search Committee charged with reviewing candidates and making the recommendation to the Board.  The committee members are  Jodi Lavoie-Carnes, Nancy Dionne, Michael Lapoint, and Nate Mears.

The Town of Rollinsford is looking for a part-time plow truck driver. Applicants must:
1. Be available for most storms within the winter season.
2. Be able to sit for long periods of time.
3. Have a safe driving history.
4. Must have a CDL-B with air brake endorsement.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $19.00-$20.00 /hour

Position Vacancy: Road Agent, Town of Rollinsford, NH

The Select Board of the Town of Rollinsford NH is seeking a road agent. Please refer to the job description for a list of responsibilities and requirements. The salary range is $50k – $65k with a starting salary normally not to exceed $55k and based upon experience, skills, and relevant licenses and certificates.

Resignation of Road Agent

At its meeting of August 7, the Select Board accepted the resignation of Jeff St. Jean as the town’s road agent. Mr. St. Jean has worked tirelessly for the town in his seven years of service and the Board thanks him for his reliability and doggedness in keeping our roads safe and passable with many hours spent during nights, weekends and holidays in the most disagreeable of weather conditions. We thank him and wish him well in his new endeavor. 
And, now we need to find a new road agent. The Select Board has formed a Search Committee (Jodi Lavoie-Carnes, Nate Mears, Michael Lapoint, Nancy Dionne) to review applications and make a recommendation to the Board. We will soon be posting the notice seeking applicants to fill the position.
