Resignation of Road Agent

At its meeting of August 7, the Select Board accepted the resignation of Jeff St. Jean as the town’s road agent. Mr. St. Jean has worked tirelessly for the town in his seven years of service and the Board thanks him for his reliability and doggedness in keeping our roads safe and passable with many hours spent during nights, weekends and holidays in the most disagreeable of weather conditions. We thank him and wish him well in his new endeavor.
And, now we need to find a new road agent. The Select Board has formed a Search Committee (Jodi Lavoie-Carnes, Nate Mears, Michael Lapoint, Nancy Dionne) to review applications and make a recommendation to the Board. We will soon be posting the notice seeking applicants to fill the position.
