New State DMV Fees

All vehicles are now subject to increased DMV state fees effective 1-1-2026. If your registration has expired (prior to 1-1-2026) you will automatically be charged the new fee upon renewal.

IMPORTANT:  If you are renewing by mail and your renewal letter is dated prior to 1-1-2026 the state fee is incorrect. You can refer to your current registration or renewal letter to determine your new state fee. Town fees are not impacted by the increased state fees.
