Winter Parking Ban
No vehicles shall park on any public way within the Town of Rollinsford, New Hampshire between the hours of 12:00 AM midnight and 6:00 am from November 15th until April 1st. Any person in violation of this section shall be fined not more than $25.00 and shall have his or her vehicle towed at the owner’s expense if said vehicle is or may be hindering snow removal.
The chairman of the Board of Selectmen or the Chief of Police shall have the power to declare a snow emergency whereby he may order that all night parking ban will be changed to 6:00 pm to 6:00 am for the duration of the snow emergency only.
All residences are required to have off street parking. People living in an apartment building should consult with their landlord about off street parking for their residence.
If you have received a parking ticket and wish to contest the ticket, you shall submit a letter to the Chief of Police within 10 days of the issuance of the ticket, explaining the reasons why the ticket is being contested.
