Rail Crossing Replacement on Rollins Road in Rollinsford, NH

Work will require road closure for 5 days

The New Hampshire Northcoast railroad with assistance from New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will replace a railroad crossing on Rollins Road, approximately four hundred feet west of Somersworth Road, in Rollinsford. The work will require a road closure between the intersections of Heritage Drive and Somersworth Road. The closure will take place from Monday June 8th, 2026, at 8:30 AM through Friday June 12th, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

During this time a detour will be in place redirecting traffic at the intersections of Goodwin Road, and Somersworth Road. Traffic will be routed from Rollins Road to Goodwin Road/Green Street, to Indigo Hill Road, to Main Street/Somersworth Road, and back to Rollins Road. Detour signs will be installed to alert and guide road users throughout the closure. Local traffic will be permitted on both sides of the road closure.
