Rollinsford Dam Maintenance and Fish Passage Modifications

As part of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) re-licensing of the town-owned Rollinsford Dam and in coordination with Federal and State Agencies, this week Green Mountain Power will begin a dam maintenance project, making modifications to the downstream fish passage located downstream of the existing boat barrier on the Salmon Falls River.

Residents will notice construction equipment and vehicles in the area, near the boat launch. The road will remain open and the boat launch will remain accessible. The project is scheduled to be completed in May of 2025.
