Transfer Station CLOSED 2.23.26

Due to Monday’s forecast and continued snow clean up and removal efforts, the Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Monday, February 23rd. It is open today, Saturday, February 21st, for regular hours and will reopen on Wednesday, February 25th. 

When the transfer station is closed, the gates may be open to allow ONLY Highway Department vehicles and/or equipment to pass through. Residents should not enter or access the Transfer/Recycling area.

Per the Town Ordinance, any person found dumping within the Transfer/Recycling area or at the perimeter of the Transfer/Recycling area when the Facility is not open will be subject to all applicable fines. Fines include, but are not limited to Roadside/perimeter dumping: $500 to $2,500 and Trespassing/dumping during unauthorized hours: $1,000 to $5,000.
