TRANSFER STATION CLOSED MONDAY 1.26.26

Due to the forecasted snowstorm for this Sunday into Tuesday am, the Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, January 26th, reopening on Wednesday, January 28th.

It is important to note that the gates may be open to allow ONLY Highway Department vehicles and/or equipment to pass through. Residents should not enter or access the Transfer/Recycling area.

Per the Town Ordinance, any person found dumping within the Transfer/Recycling area or at the perimeter of the Transfer/Recycling area when the Facility is not open, will be subject to all applicable fines. Fines including, but not limited to Roadside/perimeter dumping: $500 to $2,500 and Trespassing/dumping during unauthorized hours: $1,000 to $5,000
