UPDATE Recreational Activities for Children and Camp Rolly

The Select Board recognizes the disappointment and concern shared by many residents after learning of the decision to not offer recreational activities for children, including Camp Rolly, this year. This decision was not one entered into lightly by the Select Board, but only after careful consideration and consultation with Town Counsel. To put it simply, the Select Board was not and is not in a position to plan for and offer Camp Rolly this summer due in part to the uncertainty of the on-going legal matters, liability concerns, as well as logistics and staffing requirements. At the same time, the Select Board felt it appropriate and also necessary to pause ‘drop-off’ programming and activities for children as well.
If you have any questions unrelated to the legal matters themselves, please feel to email the Town Administrator. Residents are always welcome to attend and comment during Public Comment at a regularly scheduled Select Board meeting. For meeting dates and remote access to Select Board meetings, please visit the Town’s website at https://rollinsford.nh.us/.
