Declaration of Candidacy

Declaration of Candidacy is available at the Town Office for the following positions: 

  • One Select Board member and overseer of the poor for a (3) three-year term
  • One Supervisor of the Checklist for a (3) three-year term
  • One Town Moderator for a (1) one-year term
  • One Town Treasurer for a (1) one-year term
  • Three members of the Budget Committee for (3) three-year terms each
  • One Trustee of the Trust Funds for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Library Trust for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Library Trust for (2) two-year term
  • One Trustee of the Cemetery for a (3) three-year term

The filing period opens Wednesday, January 22, 2025 and closes Friday, January 31, 2025.

Voting 11.5.2024

Voting for the 2024 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5th from 7am – 7pm at the American Legion at 551 Foundry Street, Rollinsford.

Town Hall will be CLOSED on Tuesday, November 5th for the election. 

Still need to register to vote? Please bring a photo ID, proof of domicile (lease, auto registration, or something mailed to you such as a utility bill or bank statement or similar), and proof of citizenship (passport/passport card, birth certificate, naturalization papers). If you do not have any of these documents, or have any questions, please see the Supervisors of the Checklist on voting day and they can help you. CORRECTION: Accuvote Ballot-Counting Machine Testing

The Accuvote Ballot-Counting Machine will be tested on Wednesday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Town Hall. This testing is required and is in preparation for the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5th. The public is welcome to attend.

In advance of this required testing, test ballots and tally sheets will be prepared on Tuesday, October 29th at 1:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. The public is welcome to attend.

SUPERVISORS OF THE VOTER CHECKLIST

Notice of public meeting:

Any voter wishing to update personal information, make changes to party affiliation, register to vote, or have questions about their voter status may meet with the supervisors on

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2024, 6:30 to 7:00 PM AT TOWN HALL

This will be the last opportunity to register before election day on November 5th.

Voters may also vote on November 5th.

If you are not currently registered to vote in New Hampshire or in Rollinsford,  you will need to bring with you a photo ID, proof of domicile (lease, auto registration, or something mailed to you such as a utility bill or bank statement or similar), and proof of citizenship (passport/passport card, birth certificate, naturalization papers).
