Rollinsford Candidates Night March 6‬

ROLLINSFORD – The 8th Annual Meet-the-Candidates Night will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 at the Rollinsford Public Library, Lower Mill, 3 Front St.

This event is an opportunity to meet the candidates for town and school office before the election on Tuesday, March 13, and hear how they’re planning to make an impact on the community.

Candidates for town office include:

• Select Board: Denise Knowles

• Town Moderator: Charles Putnam

• Supervisor of the Checklist: Angela Matthews

• Town Clerk: Kate Nesman

• Town Treasurer: Verne Crosier

• Fire Chief: Mark Rutherford

Town Readies Documents for Town Meeting/Annual Report

The town is in the process of compiling documents for the town’s annual report and annual town meeting and has created an online site for you to review documents as they become available.   Many of these will be printed in the annual report; some will be available only online (or via request at town hall).

To the inhabitants of the School District of the Town of Rollinsford qualified to vote in district affairs: 

You are hereby notified of the ANNUAL MEETING. 

The first session for the transaction of all business other than voting by official ballot shall be held: 

DATE: Saturday, February 03, 2018 at 9 AM at the Rollinsford Grade School, Rollinsford, NH. 

SNOW DATE: Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at 7:00 PM-Rollinsford Grade School, Rollinsford, NH. 

The first session shall consist of explanation, discussion, and debate of each warrant article. Warrant articles may be amended, subject to the following limitations: 

a. Warrant articles whose wording is prescribed by law shall not be amended. 

b. Warrant articles that are amended shall be placed on the official ballot for final vote on the main motion, as amended. 

The second session of the annual meeting, to vote on questions required by law to be inserted on said official ballot and to vote on all warrant articles from the first session on official ballot shall be held: 

DATE: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Rollinsford Town Hall in Rollinsford, NH. The polls will open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM.
