Avitar has started property reviews today. An Avitar car will be seen along side the road, usually with hazards on, reviewing properties.
They expect to be done by Thursday evening, 7.28.22.
In the fall of 2016, the Select Board signed a $70,500 contract with Avitar Associates to conduct the required revaluation of town property. According to the State of NH, revaluations need to occur at least every five years within a town. This was our lucky year. Click here to read on…

The Select Board will be meeting to review and sign the contract for the fire engine after which the Board will be speaking with representatives from Avitar about easement assessments.
The Select Board will be holding an informational session regarding the reassessment of properties currently underway. The Department of Revenue requires that each city and town reassess all properties at least once every five years. Rollinsford is undergoing this process this year.
