Composting Talk
The Rollinsford Garden and Local Sustainability Club and Friends of the Library are hosting a talk by Mr. Fox Composting on April 13th @ 6:30 pm in the Community Room at the Rollinsford Public Library. Garden Beds
Rollinsford Community Garden also has garden beds available to rent at the garden site on Foundry Street. The beds are 4 X 12 and the annual fee is $25.00. Please contact Michele Small at 603-988-3222 or at [email protected] for more information if interested.
The RGLSC/Garden Club is working with beekeeper Stephen Goodrow to install a beehive at the Community Gardens on Foundry Street. Steve will be providing a short demonstration on bees and beekeeping and will provide a Q/A session.
Prior to the presentation (6:30-7:00), the RGLSC/Garden Club will be hosting a seed swap. Bring your extra seeds and find some gems to take home!

Come help your Rollinsford neighbors maintain and cleanup
our community spaces!
Report to your preferred location at 9 am to receive your instructions.
BICENTENNIAL PARK: general spruce-up, trash removal. Team leader provided; gloves advised.
COMMUNITY GARDENS: rebuild raised garden beds, repair/paint picnic table. Team leader provided, building materials provided: can use rakes, shovels, mallets, battery-powered electric drills
NATURE TRAILS: clear existing trails. Team leader provided; can use loppers, hand saws, clippers, rakes
TOWN HALL SECOND FLOOR: general cleaning Team leader provided; can use vacuums, brooms, dust pans, dust masks advised Volunteers 18 and up.

Foundry Street
Sunday, September 25
Noon – 8:00PM for fireworks!
Join us after the Salmon Run 5K – and keep the fun going until the sun goes down!
Activities are all day 12:00 – 4:00 in Ball Field –certain performances time listed below
Scavenger hunt – Pick up your clues at the Library table and head to the trail
behind the community garden.
Kids’ carnival games and Picture taking displays
Arch – Try your luck with graces, ball and cup, bowling and maybe hoop and stick.
Chris Benedetto – Will be dressing as a Revolutionary War soldier since it is the 240th anniversary of 1776. He will be doing drills and firing a few times (with blanks of course). Also, one of their board members will be doing a presentation as a World War I soldier since the American Legion is partly named after William Martel, who was killed in France in 1918.

Many exciting activities are planned to bring our local families and neighbors together!! To end the day with a bang, we’re bringing back the tradition of an amazing fireworks display over the Salmon Falls River.
