Voluntary Water Restriction

The Rollinsford Water and Sewer District (RWSD) is currently asking that District members voluntarily reduce outdoor water use as local drought conditions continue to worsen. At this time, the public is requested to refrain voluntarily from landscape watering and to limit the amount of water used outdoors for other purposes. We will continue to monitor our water levels and may issue mandatory restrictions if conditions continue to worsen and drought conditions persist. We thank you for your cooperation.

Town Hall Phased Re-Opening

Town Hall has remained closed to the public since March. Starting today, August 25, 2020 will be open on Tuesdays from 3-7pm. Staff is still here working on other days. If your transaction can be handled via the drop box in the front door, we encourage you to continue to submit items that way. If you need immediate assistance with a transaction, you may come in on Tuesdays from 3-7. This is the first phase of the Select Board’s opening plan. Depending on how well it goes, they will consider opening the front office for all Town Hall hours.

During this time, the Town Hall will only be open for:

Voter registration, including absentee ballot applications

Vital records (birth, death and marriage licenses and certificates)

Motor vehicle registrations

If you need assistance with a matter that is not covered in the list above, please visit the Town website for more information. Those with questions may email or call the office at 742-2510

Visitors and staff must wear masks and maintain social distancing.

We appreciate your patience as we strive to offer services in a safe manner for the public and Town staff.

Town Hall Phased Opening

Open Today and Next Tuesday for Election Registration

The Select Board is working on a policy to protect the public and employees and allows more convenience to residents. For this first phase, the Town Hall will be open this afternoon from 3-7 and next Tuesday, August 18th from 3-7 for the Town Clerk window only. After that time the Select Board will evaluate potentially opening up the Town Clerk window for all Town Hall hours.

Masks must be worn by all and social distancing is required. Masks are available for those who need them. If you have a medical condition and are unable to wear a mask, we ask that you call ahead so we can make arrangements with you to meet your needs outside of the building.

We appreciate your patience as we work cautiously to open the offices in this phased approach. Stay tuned for further developments.

Family Fun Day 2020 Cancelled

Due to Coronavirus being still very active in NH and Maine it has been determined that it may not be safe to have a large gathering of families for Salmon Falls Family Fun Day this year so we have cancelled our event.

We have booked the American Legion for next year to be on September 18, 2021. Stay tuned for updates and if you want to volunteer to serve on the committee please reach out to Denise Knowles.
