Supervisors of the Checklist Upcoming Meetings/Notices of Removal

April 2, 2021

New Hampshire law requires that the Supervisors of the Checklist verify the checklist every ten years.  Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past four years must re-register to remain on the checklist.  The Supervisors are sending notice letters to these voters at the address the voter provided when registering.

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Rollinsford will hold sessions for re-registering voters who have not voted since April 1, 2017, accepting applications for new voter registration, accepting requests for the correction of the checklist, and/or changing political party affiliation on:

Saturday, May 1, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 5, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The sessions will be held in the meeting room, first floor of Town Hall, 667 Main Street.

Voters may check party affiliation on-line here

Applicants for registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may still register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship, and/or domicile.

RE: Police Chief Selection

March 18, 2021

ROLLINSFORD – The Rollinsford Select Board is pleased to announce the Board’s unanimous decision to promote Lieutenant Jonathan Uraskevich to Police Chief pending negotiation of terms of employment and compensation.

A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Jon graduated from Nute High School before beginning his career as a Police Officer in Milton, New Hampshire. In 2002 he was appointed as a full-time Patrol Officer with the Rollinsford Police Department.  In 2005, he was promoted to Patrol Sergeant, and to Lieutenant in 2012.  During Jon’s time as an officer in Rollinsford, he has built strong relationships within the community on patrol, as a prosecutor, and as an executive leader.
