Rollinsford Candidates Night March 6‬

ROLLINSFORD – The 8th Annual Meet-the-Candidates Night will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 at the Rollinsford Public Library, Lower Mill, 3 Front St.

This event is an opportunity to meet the candidates for town and school office before the election on Tuesday, March 13, and hear how they’re planning to make an impact on the community.

Candidates for town office include:

• Select Board: Denise Knowles

• Town Moderator: Charles Putnam

• Supervisor of the Checklist: Angela Matthews

• Town Clerk: Kate Nesman

• Town Treasurer: Verne Crosier

• Fire Chief: Mark Rutherford

• Budget Committee (three 3-year positions): Jodi Lavoie-Carnes, Paul Cass, Verne Crosier, Edmund Jansen, Dee Neathawk, Jonathan Ordway

• Trustee of the Trust Funds: Salme Perry

• Trustee of the Library (2): Emily Quirk, Tamara Niedzolkowski

• Trustee of the Cemetery: Marc Couture

Candidates for school office include:

• School District Moderator: Charles Putnam

• School District Treasurer: Judy Barry, Suzanne Mountain

• School District Clerk: Coire T. Jones

Ballot Test & Checklist Meeting

The Town of Rollinsford will be conducting a test of the ballots being used for the Town Election

on March 6t h, 2018 @ 6:00pm at the Town hall.

The Public is welcome to attend and volunteer to help in the process.

 

The Town of Rollinsford Supervisors of the Checklist will be meeting

on March 3rd, 2018 between 11:00 to 11:30 am @ the Town Hall

Declaration of Candidacy is available at Town Office for the following positions: 

  • One Select Board member and overseer of the poor for (3) three year term;
  • One Town Clerk for (3) year term;
  • One Town Treasurer for (1) one year term;
  • One Chief of the Fire Department for (1) one year term;
  • Three members of the Budget Committee for (3) three year term;
  • One Trustee of the Trust Funds for (3) three year term;
  • One Trustee of the Library Trust for (3) three year term;
  • One Trustee of the Library Trust for (2) two year term;
  • One Trustee of the Cemetery Trust for (3) three year term

The filing period opens January 24, 2018 and closes February 2, 2018
