 The filing period for the following Rollinsford School District officers begins on January 19, 2022 and closes on January 28, 2022. Declaration of candidacy forms will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM at:

Late start Thursday bus route information

Good evening,

As Marshwood Middle and High Schools begin the “late start” Thursday schedule tomorrow, September 9th, please know that the buses for Rollinsford students who attend MMS and MHS will run on the same schedule as they do on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.   Unlike in years past, there is no separate Thursday schedule.   Supervision is being provided at both schools for students.

Open position: School Board Member

A member of the Rollinsford School Board has resigned ahead of their term expiration. The remaining board members have the authority to appoint a new member to serve until the next town election in March 2022.

The school board meets the second Thursday of every month and holds additional meetings during budget season. Some members also serve as ex-officio members on other boards and committees.

If you are interested in being considered for appointment, please send the school board a letter of interest indicating why you are interested in serving and any applicable experience or expertise you would bring to the board.

Election: Sample Ballot & Volunteers

Town Election Day is June 8th. Voting will take place at the American Legion from 7am to 7pm. We are currently looking for resident volunteers to fill important roles at the Legion on Election Day. Even if you can only offer your services for an hour or two, we’d be happy to have you on board. If interested, please contact the Town Clerk.

School Warrant Articles-2021 

The State of New Hampshire 

To the inhabitants of the School District of the Town of Rollinsford qualified to vote in district affairs: 

You are hereby notified of the Annual Meeting. 

The first session shall consist of explanation, discussion, and debate of each warrant article. Warrant articles may be amended, subject to the following limitations: 

a. Warrant articles whose wording is prescribed by law shall not be amended. 

b. Warrant articles that are amended shall be placed on the official ballot for final vote on the main motion, as amended.

The deliberative session is scheduled for May 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., Rollinsford American Legion, Rollinsford, NH. 

The second session of the annual meeting, to vote on questions required by law to be inserted on said official ballot and to vote on all warrant articles from the first session on official ballot is scheduled for June 8, 2021 at the Rollinsford American Legion in Rollinsford, NH. Polls will be open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.

Today is the final day to file a Declaration of Candidacy for Town Boards and Committees as well as School Board and School District positions

Declaration of Candidacy is available at the Town Office for the following positions:

• One Select Board member and overseer of the poor for a (3) three-year term
• One Town Clerk for a (3) three-year term
• One Town Treasurer for a (1) one-year term
• One Town Moderator for a (1) one-year term
• Three members of the Budget Committee for (3) three-year terms
• One Trustee of the Trust Funds for a (3) three-year term
• One Trustee of the Library Trust for a (3) three-year term
• One Trustee of the Cemetery for a (3) three-year term

The filing period opens Wednesday, January 20, 2021 and closes Friday, January 29, 2021.
If you are interested in declaring your candidacy for any of these positions, please call (603) 742-2510 or send an e-mail. We can then schedule a time for you to come to Town Hall to fill out an official declaration of candidacy form.

A Special Sign-up Session will be also held at Town Hall from 3:00 to 5:00pm on Friday, January 29, 2021.
