Official Candidate List for 2022 Elections
The town election will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022.
Voting will be conducted from 7am – 7pm at the American Legion on Foundry Street.
The town deliberative session will be this Saturday, February 5th, at 9am at the Rollinsford Grade School.
Holiday Closures 1.17.22
Town Hall and the Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, January 17th in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
Declaration of Candidacy – Town
Declaration of Candidacy is available at the Town Office for the following positions:
- One Town Treasurer for a (1) one-year term
- One Town Moderator for a (1) one-year term
- One Select Board member and overseer of the poor for a (3) three-year term
- One Trustee of the Trust Funds for a (3) three-year term
- One Trustee of the Library Trust for a (3) three-year term
- One Trustee of the Cemetery for a (3) three-year term
- One member of the Budget Committee for a (2) two-year term
- Three members of the Budget Committee for (3) three-year terms
- One Supervisor of the Checklist for a (6) six-year term
The filing period opens Wednesday, January 19, 2022 and closes Friday, January 28, 2022.
If you are interested in declaring your candidacy for any of these positions, please stop in to Town Hall during normal operating hours to fill out an official declaration of candidacy form. If you have any questions, please call (603) 742-2510 ext. 314 or email the Town Clerk.
A Special Sign-up Session will also be held at Town Hall from 3:00 to 5:00pm on Friday, January 28, 2021.
Town Hall Holiday Closures
Town Hall will be closed on Christmas Eve day (12/24) and New Years Eve day (12/31). Happy Holidays!
2022 Transfer Station Stickers
2022 Transfer Station stickers are now available for purchase at either Town Hall or the Transfer Station. The cost is $10 for the first and $5 for the second (limit 2 per household). You must provide a valid NH vehicle registration in order to obtain your sticker.
Town Hall Closed Thursday/Friday
The Town Office will be closed Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!
