Supervisors of the Checklist Meeting 9.3.22

A mandatory meeting of Supervisors of the Checklist will be held on Saturday, September 3 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m.  Anyone wishing to register to vote or update their voter records may do so at this time.
It is not possible to change affiliation at this time or on election day.  Voters will be given the ballot for the party indicated on the official checklist.  However, voters may write in candidates that do not appear on their party ballot.
At the Primary Election, voters who are Undeclared will be required to declare a party and will be given that ballot.  Party Affiliation Change Forms will be provided with the ballot for voters wishing to immediately return to Undeclared status.  Voters must complete the form and return it to the town Moderator to be processed after the elections.

Voting Day Volunteers Needed

Town Election Day is March 8th. Voting will take place at the American Legion from 7am to 7pm. We are currently looking for resident volunteers to fill important roles at the Legion on Election Day. Even if you can only offer your services for an hour or two, we’d be happy to have you on board. If interested, please contact the Town Clerk.

Official testing of the ballot machine will be held at Town Hall on Wednesday, March 2 at 9:00am. All voting residents are invited to attend.

Supervisors of the Checklist Meeting 2.26.22

Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session at Town Hall on Saturday, February 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Individuals who are new to Rollinsford may register to vote during this meeting.  Registered voters may also update changes to their registration such as name, address, or party affiliation.   No registrations or changes may be taken after this meeting until Town Elections on Tuesday, March 8, at the American Legion Hall on Foundry Street between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Declaration of Candidacy – Town

Declaration of Candidacy is available at the Town Office for the following positions:

  • One Town Treasurer for a (1) one-year term
  • One Town Moderator for a (1) one-year term
  • One Select Board member and overseer of the poor for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Trust Funds for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Library Trust for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Cemetery for a (3) three-year term
  • One member of the Budget Committee for a (2) two-year term
  • Three members of the Budget Committee for (3) three-year terms
  • One Supervisor of the Checklist for a (6) six-year term

The filing period opens Wednesday, January 19, 2022 and closes Friday, January 28, 2022.

If you are interested in declaring your candidacy for any of these positions, please stop in to Town Hall during normal operating hours to fill out an official declaration of candidacy form. If you have any questions, please call (603) 742-2510 ext. 314 or email the Town Clerk.

A Special Sign-up Session will also be held at Town Hall from 3:00 to 5:00pm on Friday, January 28, 2021.
