Town Reports Are Available – See New Version Online

The Town Report is now available for pick up at the Town Office. Copies will be made available at the Deliberative Session. If you have already picked up a Town Report, please know that a correction has been made to the budget. The new budget document can be found on the Town website HERE.

If you have reviewed the Town Report online, it has been corrected to reflect the accurate version of the budget. You can see the CORRECTED TOWN REPORT HERE.

We apologize for the confusion. The correct version of the proposed budget matches the warrant the total of which should read: $2,464,122.

Let’s Vote Safely!

The Deliberative Session is coming up this Thursday and starts at 6:00pm at the American Legion. Masks are required and seats will be spaced in a socially distant manner. If you choose to stand, be sure to keep your distance from others.

We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday to discuss what we will be voting on in June. This is your opportunity to hear your neighbors’ thoughts, let others know how you feel about topics, and potentially vote to change (or not change!) text that will be on the ballot.

Town Report materials are available on the Town’s website. Town Reports will be printed for the Deliberative Session, limited to one per household.

See you all on Thursday!

TOWN HALL CLOSED THURSDAY, MAY 6

Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, May 6th due to preparations that need to take place for the Town Deliberative Session, which will begin at 6:00pm in the main hall of the American Legion.
Please come to the American Legion at 551 Foundry Street at this time to take part in this important town event.

MESSAGE REGARDING DOG LICENSE FEES

Many residents have received or will soon receive a Mail-in Dog License renewal form. The fee structure listed on that form already includes the $0.75 special postage fee. For example, a 2021 license for one altered (spayed/neutered) dog costs $7.50, plus the $0.75 for special postage. Therefore, if you’re renewing by mail or the drop box, you should make your check out for $8.25.
Seniors over 65 should make their checks out for $4.25 ($3.50, plus the $0.75 for special postage) for one altered dog. The senior discount does not apply to the second, third, or fourth dog.
If you have two to four dogs, you don’t have to pay any more than the $0.75 for special postage. For example, 2021 licenses for two altered (spayed/neutered) dogs cost $15.00, plus the $0.75 for special postage. Therefore, if you’re renewing by mail or the drop box, you should make your check out for $15.75.
If you choose to renew your dog’s license in person at Town Hall, then you can ignore the $0.75 special postage fee altogether.
We apologize for the confusion!

2021 Dog Licenses

Dog licenses expire on April 30th. Please feel free to come to Town Hall during our new operating hours (Mondays 8:00am to 1:00pm, Thursdays 1:00pm to 6:00pm, and Fridays 8:00am to 1:00pm) to obtain a new 2021 license or to get your dog registered for the first time. You may also renew by mail or through the drop box, but be sure to include an extra $0.75 for special postage.

Here is a link to the Dog Licensing page: Dog Licenses | Town of Rollinsford. As you will see here, our fee structure has changed slightly. If you have any questions about dog licensing, please e-mail the Town Clerk or call 742-2510 ext. 314.

Reminder: All dogs must have up-to-date rabies vaccinations in order to be granted licenses.

Town Hall Business Procedure Update

In light of the continued prevalence of COVID-19 cases throughout New Hampshire, the Select Board has decided out of an abundance of care for our residents and staff to continue to limit public access to Town Hall until further notice. Town Hall staff will continue to be working in the building throughout the week and are available to assist residents over the phone, through e-mail, and via the drop box located through the front door. In the event you feel that your request requires face-to-face interaction, an appointment can be made with the appropriate staff member. Please choose from the list of staff members below. Keep in mind that masks and appropriate social distancing are required of residents making use of Town Hall during these times.
