RPD is reminding citizens should you come across a discarded hypodermic needle, do not touch it or remove it. So far this year we have had 4 calls to remove found needles. All four instances the needles were discarded along the roadside as if being tossed out a car window. To ensure a safe removal, please call the PD and we will remove and dispose of them.
Gagnon Construction has begun the exterior drainage work at town hall. Chief Ducharme has agreed to help provide parking logistics during the duration of the project.
Gagnon Construction will be starting on the side of town hall where the RPD currently parks its vehicles. RPD vehicles and officer vehicles will be parked on Fourth Street during the duration of the project. Town Hall visitors and Town Hall officials/staff will continue to park in the front of the building.
When work moves to the Main Street side of the building, Town Hall visitors and Town Hall officials/staff will park on the side of the building. We may be able to provide some parking in the front as well.
If you are disabled or require some special assistance reaching town hall during this time please call town hall or the RPD.
The Select Board appreciates the town’s patience during the duration of this project and thanks Chief Ducharme and the RPD for its logistical help and RPD vehicle accommodation.
