Enhanced Traffic Patrols by RPD beginning 5.8.18

Beginning May 8, Rollinsford Police are participating in enhanced traffic enforcement patrols thanks to a grant from the NH Office of Highway Safety.  Officers will be looking for any violation of law, more specifically distracted driving, driving under the influence, use of electronic devices, etc.  Special attention will be given to the Roberts Road, Bear Road, and Portland Avenue corridors.  A safety traffic sign has been temporarily set up on Portland Avenue in the vicinity of Roberts & Baer intersection advising motorist to reduce speed as they approach the intersection and not to pass on the right using the breakdown lane as a passing zone.

Drug Take Back Day

The Rollinsford Police Department is participating in the DEA Take Back Drug Day, Saturday, April 28, 10 am to 2 pm.  Drop off your unused, unwanted, outdated prescriptions at the PD and they will be disposed of.  No questions asked.
If you are unable to drop them off, call 742-2724 to arrange for pickup or you may drop them off at the PD anytime.
Unwanted medications should not be thrown in the trash or flushed down the toilet.

The Conservation Commission would like to invite you to celebrate Earth Day by participating in trash pick-up in an effort to keep our community liter free.
