The Town of Rollinsford has received two ARPA fund payments totalling $270,727. The Select Board and Town Administrator are evaluating proposed projects for this year and seek public input on the following proposed, estimated expenditures as well as any other recommendations for use of these funds. Unexpended funds will be held in a reserve account for future projects. Future projects and proposed expenditures will be evaluated as needed and all funds must be incurred by December 31, 2024. Please join us at the Rollinsford Public Library to share your thoughts about these projects.

  • Town Hall Air Condensers – $50,000 (estimate)

  • Water & Sewer Contribution for Partridge Lane sewer project – $28,000

  • Fire Department Water Line Reconstruction and Vehicle Wash – $125,000 (estimate)

The Town received the initial payment of $135,363.71 this summer and is proposing to receive the second and final payment immediately. We would like to gain input from residents on proposed expenditure of these funds for Town and Water & Sewer related projects. Public Hearing: Parking Ordinance

The Select Board will be holding a public hearing to hear from residents about a proposed change to Ordinance 75-01 regulating parking.

Section #3 – The parking ordinance change approved on January 28, 2021 that restricts parking on Main Street from Front Street to a point 15’ west of the Prospect Street intersection is proposed to be reverted.

The public hearing is at the Town Hall on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 6:00pm. Those who are unable to attend are welcome to submit comments in writing at Town Hall, via email or attend the meeting on Zoom. The calendar on the Rollinsford Town Website will provide a Zoom link for this meeting.

Public Hearing 8.24.21: Parking

The Select Board will be holding a public hearing to hear from residents about a proposed change to Ordinance 75-01 regulating parking.

Section #3 describing the no-parking area on Main Street would be changed to include the additional language noted in red:

“From Front Street to a point 15’ west of the Prospect Street intersection except that compact cars may park directly in front of 619, 621, 629 and 631 Main Street. A compact car is defined as a vehicle that fits between the road and the sidewalk such that it is parked entirely off the road without touching the sidewalk.”

The public hearing is at the Town Hall on Tuesday, August 24th at 6:30pm. Those who are unable to attend are welcome to submit comments in writing at Town Hall or via email.
