Public Hearing 2.14.22: Scarlett Lane

The Select Board will hold a public hearing regarding the acceptance of Scarlett Lane (off Silver Street Extension) as a town road on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 6pm at Town Hall.

Those who are unable to attend are welcome to submit comments in writing at Town Hall, via email or attend the meeting on Zoom. The calendar on the Town of Rollinsford website will provide a Zoom link for this meeting.

The Select Board meeting will begin immediately following the conclusion of the public hearing.

Declaration of Candidacy is available at the Town Office for the following positions:

  • One Town Treasurer for a (1) one-year term
  • One Town Moderator for a (1) one-year term
  • One Select Board member and overseer of the poor for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Trust Funds for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Library Trust for a (3) three-year term
  • One Trustee of the Cemetery for a (3) three-year term
  • One member of the Budget Committee for a (2) two-year term
  • Three members of the Budget Committee for (3) three-year terms
  • One Supervisor of the Checklist for a (6) six-year term

The filing period opens Wednesday, January 19, 2022 and closes Friday, January 28, 2022.

Administrative Assistant-Part Time Volunteer

The Select Board for the Town of Rollinsford is seeking a part-time, volunteer Administrative Assistant. The position primarily reports to the Select Board and may also receive requests for assistance from the Finance Administrator. Please submit a brief letter of interest and a summary of qualifications or resume to the Select Board via email.

Position: Administrative Assistant
Status: Part-Time, Volunteer
Hours: 6-8 Hours Weekly (Flexible)

The Select Board is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with the following administrative functions:

  • Oversees and prepares the Select Board agendas. 
  • Arranges meetings at the request of the Select Board.
  • Prepares public notices as requested by the Select Board.
  • Manages or assists with providing notifications to the Town via:
    • Town calendar
    • Town website
    • Town email
  • Handles miscellaneous administrative functions for the Select Board such as printing, emailing, mailing or otherwise distributing documents.
  • Handles Select Board’s correspondence and prepares responses as needed. 
  • Prepares press releases and reports as required and directed by the Select Board.
  • As requested and needed, research information requested by the Select Board.
  • Assists with other miscellaneous administrative tasks upon request.
